Dahlia Bulbs (Tree) – Imperialis
Dahlia Imperialis enjoys a long, rich history as a part of dahlia royalty. Brought to Europe from Mexico in the 16th century, this variety boasts pendant, or nodding, style flowerheads with a single row of lavender/pink petals offset by its orange center. Dahlia Imperialis is considered a tree dahlia, as it can grow from 6 to 13 feet high bearing thick stems and large leaves. The height of this plant makes for an incredible border that will bloom well into October.
