Carrot ‘Marion’ F1 Hybrid is a Nantes type carrot with a long sowing period making it suitable for all year harvesting. You need never buy another carrot from the supermarket again – think of those savings make as prices go up and up at the shops.
Royal Horticultural Society award-winning Marion seeds produce blunt tipped roots which are exceptionally tender and have a superb, sweet flavour. This variety has a good colour which does not turn green at the shoulder.
Carrots prefer an open sight with light, stone-free soil and are ideally suited to growing in raised beds. We recommend you grow carrots in soil that has not been manured in the last 12 months.
