Cabbage Seeds ‘Tundra F1’
- Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit
- Praised for its sweetness
- Hardy in all parts of the UK
Cabbage ‘Tundra’ F1 generation hybrid has outstanding resistance to frost and so becomes one of the most reliable savoy cabbages for home-growing. Growing into a tidy ball Tundra is both attractive, ornamental and tastes good especially on a cold Sunday in winter. Known to be as sweet as a nut Tundra stays in great condition without splitting in the colder months.
Grow the hardiest of cabbage and a firm favourite with many of our customers. The structural ball heads are ready to harvest from as early as November, but will stand well in the ground until required until spring. The satisfying heads are full of taste and texture and we highly recommend them.
In every packet you receive up to 100 seeds. That gives you a potential of 100 cabbages, saving you heavy shopping bags and cash over the winter months. When harvesting we recommend you chop close to the ground as possible with a sharp knife like the Marshall Garden Knife with pouch.
