Sarah Bernhardt is a wonderful Peony that features ruffled pink double blooms from large rounded buds.
This variety is an RHS award of garden merit and is a well known favourite since it’s introduction in 1905.
Growing taller than most Peonies, Sarah Bernhardt is perfect suited to planting towards the back of perennials border where it flowers above the dark green foliage.
Peony petals can be added to salads or cooked slightly as a treat.
