Pea Seeds Mangetout Seeds ‘Snow Wind’ F1
- Satisfying stringless pods
- Handfuls of harvests
- Resistant to mildew
A delicious stringless mangetout pea, which stood out from the crowd in the trials field on account of its pretty pods and great flavour. Even older pods are crisp and tasty.
When its harvest time you can be sure to pick lots of pods young and old and there are all full of flavour. Plants needs a little support to keep them producing lots of flavoursome pods for you. This variety shows good resistance to mildew too- saving you troubleshooting this pesky plant disease.
We recommend you sow seeds outdoors in rich soil. Sow seeds in rich soil every 3in (8cm) in a row. If you’re sowing in more than one row space rows 24in (60cm) apart to give your mangetout plants room to grow.
Keep well-watered as soon as the seeds germinate and this will put your plants in good stead. Once you’ve harvested your peas, bring them into the kitchen and steam them so they retain their lovely flavour and tenderness.
